International Academy of Music
preparation for effective music ministry
The International Academy of Music (IAM) purposes to provide Christian musicians with practical training opportunities that equip them and expand their vision for effective music ministry. It provides students with accelerated training opportunities that are less expensive than most music academies and universities and that are excellent in quality and practical in nature.
IAM’s desire is to assist students in establishing firm, Biblical convictions in music and instilling in each student the desire to glorify God through the musical gifts and talents that have been given them.

the International Academy of Music. Each time, they have proved
to be extremely worthwhile. We were required to apply every concept
we learned through practical, hands-on projects, rather than just
having ‘fact-learning sessions.’
“Later, when I went to college, I was given eight hours of credit for my freshman-level theory courses from the Academy and placed in the sophomore-level class. However, after a few weeks, my professor said I wouldn’t need to keep coming to his class because he thought it was a waste of my time! Other students began asking me where I had studied music and wondered why an incoming freshman knew more than the sophomores.
