Taiwan Ministry

opportunities to share God’s truth

Guidelines and Expectations

Guidelines

Institute standards such as dress, music, and courtship will be upheld among the team members. Situations the students encounter may differ from the usual IBLP ministry trip. Each one should be prepared to make wise decisions and to stand alone for what is right when necessary.

Authority Structure

For each teaching team, a team leader will be appointed. This leader reports directly to Mr. Morgan Sun in Taiwan and Mr. George Mattix, Director of International Ministries, in the United States. Although he is not a direct authority, Dr. Chen of the Taiwan IBLP office will be available if there are special needs for counsel or advice.

Transportation

King Car covers the cost of the airline ticket to and from Taiwan. The student is expected to fly out of and return to the same airport in the United States. During the longer time commitment of one year, there will be at least one break in which to return home for vacation. Returning for vacation is optional, and therefore the cost must be covered by the individual.

Teaching Agreement

King Car has asked that ATI students come to Taiwan with the sole intention of working with the schools arranged by King Car. The desire is that students would not use this ministry opportunity as a means of furthering personal ambition by seeking employment with any other school district or private school.
